Overview

Located in the Mara North Conservancy, the heart of the Masai Mara ecosystem, Elephant Pepper Camp is the perfect base from which to explore the wonders of the Mara.

Tucked away in a dense grove of fig and elephant pepper trees, this intimate small-scale safari camp overlooks the rolling grasslands of the Masai Mara. One of only eleven safari camps in the private and exclusive Mara North Conservancy, the camp is ideally situated in a wildlife hotspot – but is far away from the busier tourist-laden wildlife areas. A great location for year-round game watching.

The camp has eight spacious, luxury tents, each with an en-suite bathroom with hot running water and flushing toilets. The decor in the tent is elegant, with dark wood furnishings and vintage brass fittings. The camp also features new honeymoon and family tents, the ideal accommodation for guests wanting a little extra space and privacy, with spectacular views over the savannah plains on the private verandah.

The eight tents are tucked away behind the fig and elephant pepper trees, giving guests a sense of peacefulness and privacy in the bush. The main area of the camp homes a cosy lounge and a dining area, where the guests dine communally and feast on an Italian-influenced menu. The staff of the camp would as well, be more than happy to organise a private dinner for guests if they require so.
