Rwanda Gorillas in the Mist

Day 1 – ARRIVAL- KIGALI

Meet and Greet by Wild Nature Discovery driver-guide, after briefing, transfer to the hotel. Dinner & overnight at your preferable hotel/lodge.

DAY2- KING’S PALACE – NYUNGWE RAIN FOREST

After breakfast you will depart to Nyungwe NP en route you will visit the King's palace museum (in Nyanza), visit the National Museum of Rwanda and performance of the Intore- traditional dancers (in Butare). Lunch will be taken in Butare after lunch you will continue your journey to Nyungwe NP. Dinner & Overnight at your preferable hotel/lodge.

DAY3- CHIMPANZEE TREKKING & CANOPY WALK.

Wake up early morning and have the breakfast. After breakfast you will meet and greet your park tour-guide for a short briefing before you undertake your day activity. After trekking chimpanzees, you will enjoy your lunch then, depart to Uwinka for starting the canopy adventure. After canopy walkway, you will be driven back to your hotel/lodge in Gisakura. Dinner & Overnight at your preferable hotel/lodge.

DAY4-  TRANSFER TO VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, you will be driven to Volcanoes NP, the transfer takes min 7 hours. En route you will have a stopover for lunch thereafter, you will continue your journey up to Volcanoes NP. Dinner & overnight at your preferable hotel/lodge.

DAY5- GORILLAS TREKKING – KIGALI

After breakfast, your driver-guide will take you to the park reception for briefing regarding those famous endangered Gorillas (Primates). After having distributed the group of gorillas to be visited, your driver-guide will drive you until the hiking point for starting your trekking. After the trekking, you will have a quick visit at Iby'Iwacu cultural village (a community involved in gorilla’s conservation since they have stopped poaching in the park). Lunch at Musanze/Kinigi after that, transfer to Kigali. Dinner & Overnight at your preferable hotel/lodge.

DAY6- KIGALI CITYTOUR –AIRPORT TRANSFER

After breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel, depending on your flight time you will do Kigali city tour including the Genocide Memorial Centre at Gisozi Kigali and Kimironko local market for the souvenirs and then transfer to the airport. End of the tour.
