11-Day Ultimate Kenya Luxury Safari

Day 1: Welcome to Africa

On arrival at JOMO KENYATTA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, you shall be transferred to Hemingways Nairobi where you'll spend your night, and be briefed about your tour on various destinations to visit as well as the dos and don’ts of each destination.

Day 2 - 4: Exploring the Samburu Special Five & Huge Herds of Elephants at Samburu

Leave for Samburu in the early parts of the day by air. A flight to the Southern part of Kenya from Samburu is magical and scenic. You'll appreciate the landscape as you fly through various mountain ranges and great views and scenery as you move from Nairobi to Samburu. The expected arrival time at Samburu will be close to midday where you shall have a short game drive where you might spot leopards, tortoises, impalas, dik-diks, zebras, Grant gazelle, and elephants, among others. You shall be spending your nights at the magnificent Sasaab Lodge, with great views and the fact that it is frequented by wild animals. Game drives are done twice daily..

Day 5 - 7: Great Wildlife Safari Experience at Lewa

In transit, you shall enjoy the scenic view of Kenya's highlands. The expected arrival time at Laikipia will be around mid-morning when you shall check in at Lewa Wilderness Lodge and start off the day’s game drive. You might spot; African elephants, bongo, buffaloes, lions, black panthers and a view of Mount Kenya. Around midday, you shall check in at your lodge where you shall be served lunch. Thereafter, jump into an afternoon/evening game drive. Later in the evening get back to your lodge for a good rest and prepare for more Laikipia adventures.

There are tonnes of options when it comes to choosing the right tool for your game drive, from a 4*4 safari Land cruiser to a helicopter ride(extra cost) or perhaps for the most adventurers, one gets on a horse ride and tour the vast wilderness of Laikipia.

Day 8 - 9: Spotting the Big Five and Wildebeest Migration at Masai Mara

A flight to the Southern part of Kenya from Laikipia is magical and scenic. You'll appreciate the landscape as you'll fly through various mountain ranges, and fly directly over the Great Rift Valley. Once you land, you shall be transferred to your hotel, Elewana Sand River before joining the mid-morning game drive. Mara is rich with game activities and you'll be sure of spotting the Big Five. Game drives are done twice daily.

Day 10 - 11: Last Day of the Safari

Have a flight back to Nairobi and get to have some rest before the afternoon tour of Nairobi, the city under the sun. Enjoy a game lunch or game dinner at the world-famous Carnivore Restaurant. Afterwards, we will drop you off at your hotel or airport.
