Itinerary

Day 1: Urban Experience in Nairobi

Your adventure begins in the bustling heart of Kenya. Upon arrival, you'll meet your expert guide, who will swiftly handle all necessary arrangements, ensuring a smooth start to the safari you've been dreaming of.

Beyond the city's modern appeal, dive into Kenya's rich heritage. Explore local markets, indulge in authentic traditions, and visit beautiful natural attractions for a well-rounded cultural immersion

Day 2 & 3: Experience the Samburu Special Five and Close Encounters with Elephants

Spend the entire day in Samburu National Reserve, with private game drives. Samburu is famous for its Samburu Special Five, Grevy’s zebra, with their intelligent pin-stripe pattern; gerenuk, of the impressively stretchy neck; Beisa oryx, with pointed horns and distinctive markings; reticulated giraffe, clad in attractive coats; and Somali ostrich, a feathery delight. You will also be able to see the Ewaso Nyiro River which cuts through the park and provides nourishment and sustainability for the Fauna and wildlife in the park. Head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

It is also a bird lover's paradise, with 420 recorded species, so binoculars are essential. This diversity of wildlife and the breathtaking view of Kilimanjaro make Amboseli an unforgettable destination for nature and wildlife enthusiasts.

Day 4: Ol Pejeta Conservancy, home to the Big Five & White Rhino Haven

Embark on an early morning game drive, then head back to the lodge for breakfast and checkout. Then, start your journey to Ol Pejeta.

Your days will be filled with excellent game viewing in the conservancy (keep an eye out for the Big 5 – lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo). Be sure to take advantage of all the unique activities on offer between game drives. Drop by the chimpanzee sanctuary to say “Hi” to the rescued primates, and participate in an optional lion tracking excursion and horse ride through the wild or with rhinos. One opportunity you definitely cannot miss is a visit to the Endangered Species Boma to see the world’s last two remaining Northern white rhinos; you’ll also get the chance to hand-feed Baraka, a blind black rhino, and learn about the conservation and sustainability efforts undertaken here.

Day 5: Spotting Black Rhinos and Flamingos of Lake Nakuru

After the morning drive, you will then proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park. Along the way, you will pass Mount Longonot and see beautiful landscapes. There will be a short stop for lunch in Mai Mahiu.

In the evening you will arrive at your accommodations, where you will have time to rest before enjoying another authentic African dinner. After dinner, there will be a bonfire where you can meet other travellers and enjoy stories about your safari adventure.

Day 6 - 8: Wildebeest Migration and the Big Five of Maasai Mara

Start your day early with a delicious breakfast before embarking on a morning safari game drive, the perfect time to spot wildlife as they search for breakfast. Marvel at the millions of pink flamingos along the lake shore and the diverse mammals gathering nearby.

After a delightful picnic lunch in the wild, continue your safari adventure in the Masai Mara National Game Reserve, famous for the “Big 5” and over 400 bird species. Enjoy your meal surrounded by the sounds of nature, keeping an eye out for animals lurking nearby.

As you embark on an exhilarating evening game drive, watch the wildlife come alive at dusk. Observe the dramatic hunting behaviors of lions and leopards as they stalk their prey under the cover of twilight. This captivating experience offers a unique glimpse into the circle of life in this breathtaking landscape.


On day two, drift above the sprawling landscapes on a hot-air balloon safari, enjoying unparalleled views of wildlife in their natural element. After landing, savor a delicious bush breakfast served amidst the tranquil beauty of the wilderness.

Day 9: Off To Naivasha

Highlights | Great Rift Valley, Giraffes, Boat Riding, Hell's Gate

Upon arriving at Lake Naivasha National Park you will check into your accommodation. You will have time to relax for the remainder of the afternoon. [Optional: Boat rides to Crescent Island on Lake Naivasha and viewing the hippopotamus.]

You will experience an authentic African dinner in the evening before heading to bed.

Day 10: Get Up Close with Majestic Elephant Herds in Amboseli

After early breakfast, It is time to leave Lake Naivasha behind and head to Amboseli. While Amboseli may be smaller than other parks, it offers breathtaking views of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, the world’s highest free-standing mountain. Arrive in time to savor lunch at your lodge, where you can take in stunning vistas of Kilimanjaro before embarking on an exciting afternoon game drive.

Day 11: End of Kenya Eco Safari

Start your day early to witness breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds gather at the summit. This stunning backdrop enhances your experience in Amboseli. Enjoy a hearty breakfast before checking out of the lodge. You’ll then be seamlessly transferred by road to the airport, where you can relax and connect with your onward flight home, carrying unforgettable memories of your journey. Safe travels!

 

Note: From July through October you may also see the Great Wildebeest Migration take place in Masai Mara.
